30 Hours

Ready for yet another emotional outburst? Oh wait before you quit this page! This time there's no emotional outburst going on. :P Well today I am going to talk about a 30-hours day or rather my 30-hours day. Confused? Let me help you out.

People ask questions about the 25-hours day, i.e, a day where we have an extra hour. Now why should we dream about having just an extra hour when we can imagine having loads of hours in a day? What if we have 6 extra hours or a day with 30 hours? That would be interesting and fun plus it won't be that boring because six hours is not a very long time, right?
How would I spend my extra 6 hours? Well, the answer's below... :D
(By the way, I have assumed that work hours, school hours and everything else remains the same. Its just that I get another 6 hours in my day)

1. The 25th hour : Hmmm...! Let's see. I think I would like to spend this hour by devoting myself entirely to the idiot box(Yep! Its not studies). But what would I watch? IPL? Well I'll watch all  the KKR matches even if I am not given extra hours in my day! :P So what will I watch? Recently, I've started watching and enjoying wildlife shows a lot, especially the show called "Where Tigers Rule". Needless to point out that my favourite wild animal is tiger(Gosh! that makes me sound like a primary student answering the teacher's question). Yesterday while watching a show on them I told my mum that tigers look like humans to me and she burst out laughing! -_- (Praga, this emoticon is helpful at times)

The wildlife shows are never more than an hour long. So, it'll be a good decision to watch them.

2. The 26th hour : After an hour of television I think I can sit down and study for an extra hour. I know I can be a little boring! :P Had I got this day a month or two before the exams, my close friends and family know what would I have done! :P But, since, we are not really having any exams right now, one extra hour for studies(apart for the normal duration for which I study) is enough! :P

3. The 27th hour : I love talking, especially to my friends. Since I have shifted to Udaipur, I have a con-call with all my friends on Sundays and I also stay in touch with the girls of my section and also my cousin(let's just stick to cousin, right?). I could make use of the 27th hour of the day to call them up and talk for a long time(as if I don't do that already). I guess getting an extra hour to talk will leave me less guilty of having wasted some 'precious' study-time. :P

4. The 28th hour : One thing that I love to do but I am unable to make time for it is baking! So, the 28th hour will be reserved for some cooking and baking. The last thing I remember baking was a chocolate cake for my classmates and that seems like ages ago! I haven't been baking recently. Baking is not something that you can do in minutes. There's a lot to do like finding a good recipe, checking if you have all the ingredients, mixing the batter, pre-heating the oven and then putting everything in it! And of course, you need time to relish what you've cooked. :P

5. The 29th hour : This hour will be for reading. I got so many books as farewell gifts and they have been imploring me for the last two weeks to read them! But, I haven't found time with all the unpacking and the process of settling down in my new home, new school and new city. I wish I had a large library with towering shelves filled with books of fiction. The library is definitely going to be a part of my house when I grow up. But, for now I would love to spend an hour only with my books.

6. The 30th hour : You must have been thinking why haven't I utilised a single hour so far for sleeping. There you go then. My 30th hour will be for sleeping! You would ask why just an hour? Well, that is because I sleep like a log even on a normal 24 hours long day... I think an extra hour of sleep will be awesome. After all, early in the morning we just ask for another hour's sleep, right? If you ask just for five minutes, increase your demands mate! :P

I will be spending my extra six hours in the above ways. What about you? :)

I'm missing you : Would've been this way

Yep! I finally changed the post title from I'll miss you to I'm missing you. That is because its been a week since I came to this city of lakes. So how do I find it? Boring! You would say that I am blinded by my desire to go back to Bhubaneswar, to my friends, to my school. Perhaps, you are right. I still call my previous school "my school" because even though I am miles away, I feel like I belong to that school only! I joined my new school a few days back. How do I find it? Not good! Rather, not as good as my previous school(my alma mater).
Missing friends just makes making new friends all the more difficult. I don't feel like saying a polite hello early in the morning or even a good-bye at the end of the day. During breaks, I look at my watch and think about my friends and what they might be doing at that hour. It's harder than I thought.
Dislike for the city and the school too makes life boring and dull. If nothing would have changed, my day would've been like this :
Waking up early in the morning. I get dressed up for school and gulp down the breakfast before going down to wait for my van to come. I get inside the van. My friend and junior sits down beside me and our endless chatter begins. We are the only two people talking other than toddlers. The van stops before the school gate. I bid her good-bye and enter my class. I keep my heavily loaded bag on the bench and get inside the adjacent classroom where my friends are waiting. The first thing I hear one of them say is that she was walking just behind me and I didn't notice. After that we chat about KKR's loss the day before. The bell rings. Time to go. I grab the hand of my classmate, who was also in the other section all this while, and walk back to my class. After the morning prayer, the classes begin. We study for four periods and then the bell rings. Time to go back to my friends. We go to the badminton lawn and stand under the shadows of our favourite tree. After eating lunch, we go back only to meet again in the games period. We, with a little bit of difficulty, grab hold of a bat. We drag one of our friends from the basketball court to play cricket(of course that takes some pleading). After bowling and begging my friends to field, I go back to my class. Then we study for another 2 periods. The school gets over. After bidding good-bye to two of my friends and my classmates, I walk to my van with my friend. On reaching my van, I bid her good-bye and she says that I am always trying to send her away. While going back, my friend and I still talk over all sorts of topics ranging from IPL teams to how she could be used for testing that water vapour's present in the air. :P I would come back to my home, have lunch, freshen up, watch tv and then go and study for the upcoming exams. I pack my bag before going to sleep and then wait for sleep to come(it never took a lot of time). I look forward to the next morning.
That would've been a normal day for me in Loyola. I know that I am never going to have it ever again. :(
