Merry Christmas!

You better watch out
You better not cry
You better not pout
I'm telling you why
Cause Santa Claus is coming to town!
He's making a list
And checking it twice
Gonna find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town!!

With Christmas just round the corner, I am pretty sure all of you are busy planning your vacations, buying near and dear ones gifts, baking cookies and decorating your house!
Well festivals are so much fun...
I found some really lovely pictures related to Christmas.. I hope you find them as beautiful as I did!

Wow! Isn't that plain awesome. I hope all of you pick up some good ideas from this one ;-)

That is a beautiful ornament to hang on your Christmas tree this winter! Get your hands on those...

How can we forget our dear Father Christmas a.k.a  St. Nicholas a.k.a Santa Claus!!

Don't forget to hang your stockings out on the night of 24th...!

I hope you get loads and loads and loads of presents under your tree or in your stockings! But don't forget to share it with people who don't have them..:-)

Christmas is all about sharing! So, if you are a good baker, bake some Christmas cookies for friends and family. They are such a treat. Make sure you decorate them well!

Lastly, I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas. May you enjoy this Christmas a lot. Before ending my post, I would like to share with you a classic Christmas carol...

Dashing through the snow
In a one-horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob-tails ring
Making spirits bright
Oh! What fun it is to laugh and sing a sleighing song tonight!!

Winter is here..!

This is the time of the year that I wait for! I love the winter season. After the scorching heat of the summer and the never ceasing rains, winter comes like a boon to me. The dew drops on the leaves early in the morning, the fog all around you, the cold air sweeping the hair off your face - what else can you ask for?
Waking up in the morning is definitely a hard task as you simply can't escape the coziness of the blankets. But the cool breeze sets you in a good mood for the day. And when you go out into the garden, the pearl-like dew drops on the leaves are enough to make you feel mesmerized by nature's beauty!
The temperature again comes down in the evening and you can always relax yourself with a mug of hot chocolate or coffee. You can never have that experience in the summers, can you?
Winter is just such a lovely season and I am sure most of you will agree with me!

Annual Sports Day @ Loyola!!

Today, my school hosted the Annual Track and Field Meet. An event that we had been looking forward to since   the 8th of November (the day we started practicing for it).
We had several drills by students of different classes. Even the tiny tots performed.
We have four houses in our school - Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz. As members of Emerald house, my friend and I take great pride in our house. The other members of our house and us were cheering for Emerald throughout the day. We had a parade and running events.
I don't know the feelings of the participants but I feel so excited when they run on the tracks with all their strength and heart! You feel like, oh god, I seriously can't describe my feelings. When I look at some of the fastest, I feel as if I am sitting and watching Edward Cullen running ;-)
Well, they are outstanding at it and defintely deserve all the cheering possible.
The sportsmanship spirit in each of them is commendable.
At the end of the day, I really would like to thank all these participants who perform so well for the sake of their houses!

We've heard people say - "it doesn't matter whether you lose or win". We ourselves have told to our friends when they had been crying over their defeat. But, what I think is that when you do something from your heart, it doesn't matter whether you win or not.
I am a huge fan of watching and playing cricket. At school, my friends and I indulge in many cricket matches. It is simply wonderful to be a part of a match. It just is such an exhilarating experience for all of us. Be it batting or bowling or just simply running after the ball- all of it is super fun.
You can never always win in cricket. You lose certain matches and win some. I have realised something very important based on my experiences over the last few months. I realised that when I have the bad days on the field or my team fails to win, it doesn't upset me. I don't sit crying my heart out. The reason for this is I believe is because I play cricket because I like to. I play it from my heart....
It really doesn't matter to me whether I lose or win. I love to play and play the best I can!
We all do something from our heart. We do it because we love it. It makes us feel on top of the world. It doesn't matter to us how bad we are at it..This thing makes our life full of fun and excitement. All we need to do is to discover it!

Fete...

My school organises Annual Children's Day Fete. It is great fun to be a part of it. Hanging around with friends or family is something that we all look forward to. It is a brilliant event. There are food stalls, game stalls and song dedication center. You just can't enough of it!
You arrive and start hitting the stalls. These stalls are put up by teachers with the help of students. There are awesome games to try your luck in.
The food is good too. There are so many varieties. You can tuck into street food, momos, noodles and so many other things..!
And the best part of it all - all the money collected from this event goes to a charity. So you get to have fun and at the same time make an unprivileged smile!
Such events do make your life fun!

Friends..you can't live without them!

For Good Frnz

I can't imagine my life without my friends. Life would be so boring and bizarre without them. I completely adore my friends. I am really grateful to God for giving me such friends.
Friends.. well, they make you cry and make you laugh. They are like your ultimate supporters. You have different views and ideas but somehow you still manage to gel together!
I would like to mention an incident which took place not many days back...
One day, my fiend and I were talking about chocolates (how irresistible the topic is!). I mentioned about a chocolate that I used to have when I was a child. I told her that now-a-days I am unable to find it in any shop.
The next day, when she reached school, she called me and handed me the same chocolate that I hadn't seen for ages. I was overwhelmed with joy! Not because of the chocolate but because of the fact that my friend made the effort to search for it and bring it for me.
Well, I love all my friends. Friends are one of the most important parts of life. So, take time out and thank your friends for always being there for you. Make sure you play the role of a good friend whenever your buddy needs you...!

It's A Wonderful Life

There are many films that inspire us to enjoy our life...
One of them is -
1. It's a wonderful life - This movie directed by Frank Capra was released in the year 1946. It is based on the book - "The Greatest Gift".It stars James Stewart as George Bailey.
It teaches us that our life is very important. Not only for us but also for the people around us.
A man influences the lives of many others...so, how can a man be worthless. Truly, no man is a failure.
God has given a wonderful gift to each and everyone of us.
There will be times when we are surrounded by problems. But that doesn't mean that life is a waste.
This film teaches us all these things so you should go ahead and watch this movie.

RA.ONE review

Ever since we heard that Shah Rukh Khan is doing a film having a budget of 150 crore, we were excited. We wanted  to know what the title of the film was going to be. Then we wanted to know what is the story. Finally after waiting and anticipating for so long, the film released.
I saw the movie this weekend. Well, I being a SRK fan absolutely loved the movie. The special effects were amazing. Shah Rukh Khan has been in this industry for many years now. So, his acting was right on spot. Kareena Kapoor played her part well (a small one though). Arjun Rampal looked convincing as a villain. The songs were fantastic. Not only the ones sung by Akon, but also songs like Dildaara and Bhare Naina.
It did have a gripping story to some extent. The emotional scenes did reduce me and many others to tears.
This movie was acclaimed by some of the critics. But some did not like it all that much.
My personal feeling is that this movie is worth watching. It has action, humour, and drama. In short a complete package. So, if you want to have some fun, you can go and watch this film.
